Four Thirds mount
The Olympus and Panasonic DSLR mount, 2003 to 2010, and the only mount here that died outright. The bodies went to almost nothing; the glass did not. Every lens on this page adapts forward onto any Micro Four Thirds body through an Olympus MMF adapter, and that one fact is why a 50mm f/2 macro from 2003 still costs more than the camera it was built for.
18 bodies and 42 lenses and 2 accessories tracked. Lowest used prices pulled daily from the major used-gear sites.
Kodak CCD bodies (2003-2006)
4 modelsFour bodies, all on Kodak CCD sensors, and the group people actually hunt. The color is the reason they still sell, and the E-1's 5MP has not put anyone off. The E-400 was the last one: Olympus swapped to a Panasonic sensor for the E-410 and never went back.
Live MOS bodies (2006-2010)
14 modelsPanasonic's Live MOS sensor arrived with the E-330 in 2006 and ran to the end of the mount. More resolution, cleaner high ISO, live view, and none of the CCD reputation. The E-5 in 2010 was the last Four Thirds body Olympus built.
